Extensive development and testing have resulted in Breezax Implellers having a performing efficiency at least equal to and in most cases better than any of its known competitors. Efficiencies of the order of 80% have considerably benefited users in terms of power conservation. Engine cooling applications have also shown considerable savings by using the Breezax Impeller.
Other applications have gained advantage through the use of smaller powered motors than had previously been used for the same output.

The Breezax range is extremely versatile. Breezax are able to offer very many combinations of different blades and hubs due to a large investment in tooling. For heavier duties and larger capacities the Breezaxmax range is available.

Fan hubs and clamp plates are cast from either LM2 or LM6
aluminium alloy (LM6 used on 12 and 16 blades hubs).
LM2 grade aluminium can, if necessary, be treated by the I.C.I. 1200 process to increase its durability in corrosive environments, whereas the LM6 grade has non-corrosive
qualities as cast.

Glass Reinforced Polypropylene (Red)
Our standard red blades are moulded from glass fibre reinforced polypropylene and have a safe operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. The chemical resistance of polypropylene is good when exposed to some diluted acids and alkalis, satisfactory with oils and, at normal temperatures, good with various organics such as Alcohols, Ketones, Aromatic and Chlorinated Hydrocarbons

Glass Reinforced Nylon 66 (Black) has greater strength and high temperature capability (-40°C to +150°C of non-radiant heat). Higher speeds are acceptable for standard Breezax impellers when GRN blades are fitted. GRN blades are fitted as standard in Breezamax Impellers.

Both Breezax and Breezamax blades are available in aluminium LM6. Proven for use in emergency smoke and fume extract applications up to 400°C. Also suitable for continuous operation from -40°C to +250°C.
